The tiny eastern Czech village of Nosovice is a pawn in a global game of political intrigue. Nosovice is where Hyundai will build a new auto assembly plant. Everybody knows this.
But when? The original business plan was to open in late 2008. But increasingly, the [euro]1 billion project has less and less to do with manufacturing.
Now the plant is on hold indefinitely while Hyundai Chairman Chung Mong-koo is in jail on charges of corruption and bribery.
