Porsche wants more Chinese to drive its sports cars.
Rich consumers in China tend to hire chauffeurs to drive their Mercedes-Benz or BMW vehicles. But Jebsen & Co., the Porsche importer for China, thinks the time is right for wealthy Chinese to invest in a flashier second or third car.
The company is making a major push to promote Porsche's sexiest models in a country that historically has not been a major market for sports cars.
