Renault will develop a three-box Laguna sedan as well as a pared-down small light commercial vehicle to lure new customers in developing countries.
"In the Renault Commitment 2009 plan, there is a Laguna with a trunk," said Luc-Alexandre Menard, director of Renault's external relations.
The Laguna upper-medium family of cars will be part of the 26 new vehicles Renault plans to launch between now and 2009.
