Rieter expands unit in India

Swiss-based Rieter has taken full control of its joint venture in India.

The supplier increased its holding in Rieter Automotive India to 100 percent from 35 percent.

Rieter Automotive India supplies damping products to Suzuki, Mahindra, Fiat and General Motors.

Rieter wants to increase its production capacity in India and extend its product range to include heatshields and acoustic components.
