Andrea Pininfarina is the new chairman of the Italian contract manufacturer that bears his name. He also will continue to be the CEO of the Pininfarina group.

The 48 year old takes over from his father, Sergio, 79, who requested not to be re-elected as chairman, a job he has held since the mid-1960s.

Andrea's younger brother, Paolo, 47, adds the position of vice chairman to his duties as head of product design at one of the group's subsidiaries, Pininfarina Extra.
