New-car customers don't have to look for long to find a car with an iPod or MP3 connection.
Nearly 60 percent of Europe's models will have optional iPod or MP3 connectivity by the end of the year. That number will rise to 90 percent by 2008, estimates Praveen Chandrasekar, a London-based senior research analyst with Frost & Sullivan.
More than 70 percent of the 2007 models to be sold in the US will offer the jacks and plug-in options, according to Apple Computer, which dominates the MP3 market with its ubiquitous iPod.
