Europe's large dealer groups are getting ready to add Chinese brands to their showroom lineups.

Chinese automakers such as Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp., Nanjing Automotive, Chery Automobile and Geely Automobile aim to sell cars in Europe within the next four years.

Dealer groups are reluctant to name the automakers they are currently in talks with, but industry sources involved in negotiations with Chinese brands told Automotive News Europe that about 10 major groups are looking at the prospect.
