Automakers are offering too much choice.
The market is flooded with alternative body styles and variants. Its seems like every carmaker wants to confuse the car-buying public with an ever broader offering.
Why? Because the public wants it, or so the automakers claim.
But a close look at the latest western European sales data from market researchers JATO shows that most carmakers rely on their three best-selling models for more than two-thirds of their sales.
