Audi has teamed with the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland to research how consumers decide which car to buy.

Audi hopes the research will help the company better understand consumer needs and provide the public with the cars they want and need.

The research team is headed by marketing expert Andreas Herr-mann, a professor at St. Gallen. He says some of the key issues the team will look at are: design, driving pleasure and pricing.
