BorgWarner buys French transmissions unit

BorgWarner has bought Eaton's European Transmission and Engine Controls operation in Monaco.

The plant will continue to manufacture high-pressure control solenoids for automated manual transmissions, common-rail diesel and gasoline engines and other applications. It will become a part of BorgWarner Transmission Systems and the BorgWarner Drivetrain Group.
