There will be no car production in the Netherlands by 2010, the PricewaterhouseCoopers Automotive Institute predicts.
Just one model is built in the country, the Mitsubishi Colt, and the Japanese automaker has not said whether the next generation of the small car, due in 2010, will be built at the NedCar factory in Born.
NedCar is working to win approval for the next Colt.
