Jiangling Holding's first attempt to sell its Chinese-built Landwind SUV in Europe stalled last year when the vehicle suffered what the German auto club ADAC called a "catastrophic failure" in a crash test. The Chinese automaker's Belgium-based distributor, Landwind Europe, plans a 2007 relaunch with the seven-seat medium minivan called the Fashion and a revised version of the SUV, now called the X-Pedition.
