Kroymans has dropped plans to open exclusive dealerships in Europe for General Motors' Hummer brand.
At an estimated [euro]5 million per store, the investment to create 15 Hummer centers proved to be too expensive, said a source who requested anonymity.
Instead, Kroymans only will focus on getting Hummer exclusive showroom space inside GM and non-GM dealers.
Kroymans said the decision is a change in strategy for the Dutch-based distributor.
