Aluminum suppliers stand to benefit from Brussels' push for lower CO2 emissions.

Aluminum suppliers are ready.

"We think we can help carmakers improve their CO2 performance. Aluminum can play an important role. We can help carmakers push further," said John Gardner, a spokesman for aluminum supplier Novelis.
