To ensure a supply of high-quality parts, Beijing Automotive Industry Holding wants to form more joint ventures with foreign suppliers.

"We are talking with four or five top global suppliers," says Chen Guang, a spokesman for the company. "An overall plan will come out soon."

Beijing Automotive already has joint ventures with global suppliers such as Johnson Controls, Tenneco, Visteon and Delphi.
