Renault aims to sell one-third of the 70,000-unit annual production of its Logan MCV station wagon in western Europe.
"I expect most European markets to double Logan sales with this model," Jan Ptacek, brand marketing director for the X90 range, told Automotive News Europe at the car's launch here.
X90 is the name Renault uses for its low-cost car lineup, which includes the Logan MCV wagon, Logan sedan and Logan Van.
Ptacek said Renault Germany received 3,000 orders for the MCV in January.
