Fiat dealers in Germany are balking at signing the automaker's 2007 sales plan, which they say sets out overly ambitious targets for sales and revenue gains.
"A majority of the main dealers still haven't signed sales plans for 2007," said Karl Bonten, spokesman for the German dealers. "Fiat Germany is figuring on a 25 percent to 50 percent increase in revenue this year," he said. It also wants to sell 130,000 cars compared with 112,000 in 2006. And it also wants to boost market share to 3 percent.
