Production cars: X-Trail, 350Z face-lift

The new X-Trail will have an upgraded cabin that media reports say is inspired by the interior of the new Qashqai SUV/hatchback crossover.

The new X-Trail's styling is an evolution of the current X-Trail, but the medium SUV will be underpinned by alliance partner Renault's lower-medium platform. The platform also will be used on Renault's Koleos SUV, due early next year, and an SUV that Renault Samsung will introduce in Korea later this year. All three SUVs will be equipped with a four-wheel-drive system from Nissan.
