Hyundai dealers in Germany plan to set up a trading company to beat gray-market sales.

The company will help Hyundai's German dealers buy the brand's cars in low-cost EU countries for resale in Germany.

The move aims to beat re-importers, who exploit price differences within the EU by purchasing vehicles in low-price countries and reselling them in high-price countries

Such sales accounted for 14 percent of Hyundai's 52,000 new-car registrations in Germany last year. ...
