Plastic Omnium forms Chinese joint venture.(Suppliers)

Plastic Omnium has jumped into the Chinese market with its first local venture.

The French supplier and China's Yanfeng Visteon received approval for the creation of a joint venture for exterior parts production.

Under the agreement, Plastic Omnium will acquire a 49.95-percent stake in an existing Yanfeng Visteon factory in Anting, a suburb of Shanghai.

The venture will be called Yanfeng Plastic Omnium Automotive Exteriors Systems Co.
