NBC Begins Using O&O Stations To Promote CNBC FORT LEE, NJ - NBC will begin airing on July 16 a rotation of 30-second spots promoting the Consumer News & Business Channel (CNBC) on its seven owned-and-operated television stations. The spots, which will come out of NBC's "promotional inventory," will air on owned-and-operated stations serving the New York, Washington, DC, Miami, Cleveland, Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles markets, said Caroline Vanderlip, vice president, affiliate relations, CNBC.
The ads will also air during the Today show on NBC's San Diego affiliate today through Wednesday and on local avails on Cable News Network and Headline News so that those attending the CTAM convention in that city can see the spots. To date, inquiries to...
