HSN Lays Off 40 Percent Of Marketing Department
ST. PETERSBURG, FL - Home Shopping Network Inc. (HSN) dissolved its cable and broadcast marketing section last week and laid off 20 employees and the vice president who headed the department, Frank J. Strangis. The firings amounted to about 40 percent of HSN's marketing team.
As a matter of policy, HSN does not respond to questions regarding specific personnel, according to an HSN spokeswoman. However, she did confirm that the cuts had been made in the video retailer's marketing department.
