C-SPAN First To Show Federal Court Proceeding Live WASHINGTON - When C-SPAN went live last Wednesday with complete, unedited coverage of a federal military appeals court proceeding, the cable network quietly made history. It is believed that the event marked the first live telecast of a federal court proceeding, according to legal experts and court officials.
