CNN, C-SPAN Shine On Election Night There was really only one place to be on Election Night, and it wasn't in a stuffy ballroom eating stale cheese puffs while bad cover bands played Proud Mary loud enough to drown out conversation in two states. The place was at home, with a cable-ready set.
I must admit, I came late to the Tuesday night television feast ... my cable was out until primetime. But this made me appreciate the coverage on CNN and especially C-SPAN all the more when Sammons Communications restored service in my neighborhood.
