Pay-Per-View Olympics Prepares Packages NEW YORK - NBC and Cablevision Systems Corp. are close to finalizing their plans under which subscribers would be offered three packages for the three-channel 1992 Summer Olympics pay-per-view event. Subs could buy complete coverage of the Games for under $150, said Marty Lafferty, vice president of Olympics PPV.

Subs purchasing the proposed "silver" package, one of three planned offerings, would get all 15 days of the Games and a 50 percent discount on official Olympics merchandise for $125, although that figure could change by 12 percent either way, Lafferty said.
