UA System Switches from TV Host to TV Guide TV Guide continued its aggressive pursuit of cable systems last week when it announced that it will begin publishing a system-specific weekly guide for a 188,000-subscriber United Artists Entertainment Co. system in New Jersey. In signing with the 15.2 million-circulation weekly, UA shifted from the monthly TV Hose, whih is published by TV Host Publications.
TV Host will continue to market its guide to UA subs as an independent publisher, both through the mail and on newsstands, said John Morthanos, the company's corporate marketing director. The new edition, which will be launched March 30 for the Oakland-based UA Cable of New Jersey, is the seventh cable system-specific edition begun by TV Guide. ...
