MetroTEN Wireless Files for Chapter 11 Metropolitan Cablevision, operator of Cleveland's MetroTEN multichannel wireless company, filed for Chapter 11 protection last week. MetroTEN plans to continue operations and is working on a cash collateral agreement with its lender, TA Communications Partners in Boston, said Robert Patterson, MetroTEN's president.
Last fall, when former MetroTEN president James Theroux left, industry sources said his departure was prompted by financial problems. But back then, John Hayes, one of TA's associates, said the lender was satisfied with the wireless company's operation.
