New Infomercial Nets Target Large Advertisers NEW YORK - Two companies that want to sell infomercial channels to cable operators are both hoping to attract big-ticket advertisers with well-produced programs. Home Shopping Network subsidiary HSE Entertainment Inc. last week announced a Sept.

1 launch date for its Infonet infomercial channel, but the network hasn't yet signed up any cable affiliates. Also, a group of three executives - two of them from MSO Douglas Communications - have disclosed plans for a new channel, FYI-The consumer Channel, which would program commercials in a magazine-style format to launch a 24-hour network in the first quarter of 1992.
