Lifetime To Lease CNBC on Sundays? NEW YORK - Lifetime Television is talking with CNBC about the possibility of leasing as much as 12 hours of CNBC's programming time on Sunday to run Lifetime Medical Television, a programming block for medical professionals. The deal, now being explored by Lifetime's owners, Capital Cities/ABC Inc., Hearst Corp.

and Viacom Inc., would free up Lifetime's weekend schedule to allow it to run more programming of interest to the general female population. While one source close to the talks said a deal with CNBC could be struck as early as September, others emphasized that the discussions are very preliminary.
