Hayes Brings A Fresh Look To NCTA Programming Post Since becoming vice president of programming and marketing for the National Cable Television Association and executive director of the National Academy of Cable Programming, Suzanne Hayes has seen cable programming develop a more mature image.

Last June, Hayes replaced Doris Indyke, who left the post to pursue an idealistic lifestyle in New Mexico.
