WASHINGTON -- Regional Bell operating company BellSouth Corp. has created a videotape that it plans to use to educate its employees on the information services issue and, indirectly, as a lobbying tool. Called "Times of Life," the videotape illustrates the everyday use of several new services that have not yet come to market and is narrated by actor E.G.

Marshall. A BellSouth spokesman said he wasn't sure how many of its employees have seen the videotape. The program also contends that newspaper publishers and "big cable" are trying to limit news and information by supporting bills to restrict Bell entry into the information business and urges viewers to contact their congressmen on the issue.
