MTV to help push Guns PPV concert. (MTV Networks Inc.; Guns N' Roses' pay-per-view concert)

NEW YORK - Polygram Diversified Entertainment said it has tapped MTV: Music Television to help promote its June 6 Guns N' Roses pay-per-view concert, which PDE expects to be the highest-grossing PPV music event ever.
The concert is part of PDE's aggressive agenda to bring quality event programming to PPV, said company president John Scher.
PDE expects its Guns N' Roses concert to garner above a 1 percent buy-rate and generate the most revenue of any concert in PPV history, surpassing the nearly $4 million generated by Viewer's Choice's Dec. 4 Judds concert, Scher said.
