WASHINGTON White House domestic policy adviser Clayton Yeutter made clear his support for the Federal Communications Commission's video dial tone proposal. Yeutter said he expects the ultimate plan will allow telephone companies as much freedom as possible in the provision of video services.

In doing so, he embraced steps favored by those who would like to see the FCC adopt a broader video dial tone plan than originally proposed.
