WASHINGTON -- Cable in the Classroom says it's been doing its homework this summer by getting its members prepared to go back to school with a variety of promotional materials, including TV spots and print ads. For the first time, CIC put together three advertising slicks, which it sent out to its 62 MSO members late last month.
On Aug. 11, three TV spots will be available on Nickelodeon's affiliate feed. In a new twist, one of CIC's print ads, designed to run in local newspapers and cable guides, promotes cable's role in the development of a national information superhighway.
