Playboy Entertainment Group's recent multipicture production agreement with the Motion Picture Corp. of America may yield several titles that would bypass home video and premiere on pay-per-view. The 10-picture deal, which will extend beyond Playboy's traditional erotic genre, will also give the service exclusive high-profile movie product to help it further differentiate itself from PPV and pay cable competitors, said Steve Astor, vice president of marketing for Playboy's Entertainment Group.
