NEW YORK -- Graff Pay-Per-View Inc. is a video juggling act, with the fast-growing company using its healthy adult programming operation to support investment in a variety of other video segments. But while Graff's Spice PPV business has been robust, investments in conventional movie and multichannel PPV have yet to pay off and face mounting losses even as the adult revenues zoom.

Further, after outperforming Playboy TV as a profit center for operators, Spice faces a new challenger in Adam & Eve, which is raising the soft-porn TV game's ante with generous revenue splits.
