Some people can go overboard on company loyalty ... QVC CFO Bill Costello is a member of the shopping network's frequent shopper club, buying stuff an average of once a week. Costello estimates that he's placed 50 orders from the network in the past year, largely tools and other things for his house. Costello has the network on in his office all day, and periodically something catches his eye. "If I were at home I wouldn't be watching it, but when it's on I always see something and have to buy it," he said. Costello's latest purchases: a $20 manual drill powered by squeezing a handle and a $30 saw with an extra handle in the middle to help you cut straight. "I think that one's great," Costello said.

He has the merchandise sent to his home to test out QVC's...
