ACTV to launch interactive test in Ventura Cablevision. (ACTV Inc.; Ventura County Cablevision)

ACTV Inc. will test its interactive programming and advertising service at California-based Ventura County Cablevision beginning in mid-1995 using Prime Ticket's live sports events and other educational and entertainment programming. ACTV is hoping the test, which will offer subscribers an opportunity to see different camera angles for professional sports programming, will be a prelude to a much broader launch in the future, said David Reese, executive vice president of ACTV.
