Time Warner Cable is working with a company that wants to substitute the human voice for a remote control. BBN Hark System Corp.'s voice-controlled TV access system is on track to become an integrated feature of the remote control and navigation systems, as digital TV services roll out on a wider commercial basis, said Graeme Smith, marketing manager for BBN Hark.
Cambridge, Mass.-based BBN is working with Time Warner Cable to develop voice-activated control for the Full Service Network trial in Orlando, Fla.
