Playboy to offer PPV events, more series, shopping. (Playboy Television; pay-per-view)

Playboy Television will add several original series, pay-per-view events and a home shopping show to its schedule this spring, said James English, president of Playboy Networks Worldwide. In an effort to give affiliates more original and non-repeat programming, the network will increase the number of unrepeated daily programming hours from four to eight, beginning in April.
In addition, the company will showcase a different movie every night of the week at 10 p.m., English said. "It's all about providing programming that delivers to audiences," English said. For the first time Playboy, which has 10.5 million addressable households, will also distribute PPV events as part of its lineup, English said. The network is scheduled in August to begin...
