Time Warner Inc. asked Ohio regulators to intervene in its negotiations with one of the state's phone providers, while another went to court to reverse the MSO's earlier regulatory gains. Last week, Time Warner asked the Ohio Public Utilities Commission to mediate its negotiations with Ameritech Corp.
to interconnect its planned phone operations with the Baby Bell's existing network. Regulators have told the two companies to cut an interconnection agreement by mid-January, but Time Warner said charges proposed by Ameritech for some key services are unjustifiably high.
