Gary Kasparov won't be there, but CTAM is still using a chess match-inspired theme to push its 20th annual conference in Boston in July. The Marketing group is embracing "It's Your Move -- Don't Blow It!" as its motif for the July 14-17 conference as a way calling attention to the newly competitive world that cable television, direct-broadcast satellite and telephone companies find themselves in since the passage of the Telecom Act earlier this year, said Lee Masters, president and CEO of E! Entertainment Television.
