A number of cable systems and interconnects - particularly in the South and Midwest are ready to run hard-liquor ads being pitched by Seagram Co., while some MSOs have quickly put the kibosh on carrying any of the commercials. The local cable ad sales operations that plan to accept the buys, which are either for Baileys Irish Cream, Seagram's Crown Royal or Chivas Regal, include Cable Advertising of Metro Atlanta, the Chicago Cable Interconnect and Cox Communications Inc.
