WASHINGTON - Time Warner Inc. vice chairman Ted Turner last week resumed his verbal assault on News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch by predicting the collapse of his archrival's direct-broadcast satellite business. Turner, speaking to a local cable group here with two Federal Communications Commission members present, said Murdoch's American Sky Broadcasting was doomed because of its "way-late" entry into the DBS business and various reports that ASkyB partner MCI Communications Corp.
