Rogers Joins Cahners Unit

NEWTON, MASS. -- Glenn Rogers has been named executive vice president of the Entertainment, Communications and Media Group of Cahners Business Information. He will join the company Oct. 1.
The group of 26 business publications includes Multi-channel News, CED and Cablevision magazines, as well as Wireless Week, which covers the wireless-communications industry.
Rogers, who will be based in New York and Los Angeles, has more than 20 years of experience in consumer- and trade-magazine publishing. Most recently, he was executive vice president in charge of telecommunications, entertainment and information-technology publications at Advanstar Communications.
