ENGLEWOOD, COLO. -- AT&T Broadband & Internet Services (formerly Tele-Communications Inc.) is testing consumer acceptance of co-branded phone and digital-cable services in Tacoma, Wash., and in Dallas. Through April 30, select digital-cable customers who sign up for AT&T's long-distance service will save $10 each month ($5 each off cable and telephone) through April 2000 for as long as they continue to subscribe to both services.
AT&T is targeting a "focus group" of customers, a spokesman said.
