Time Warner Inc. and AT&T Broadband & Internet Services.(Brief Article)

NEW YORK -- Time Warner Inc. and AT&T Broadband & Internet Services have completed a series of system swaps involving operations in 12 states with about 1.2 million subscribers. The deal was originally signed in 1997, but it later grew to include additional cable systems. AT&T Broadband agreed to swap some systems in Florida, Hawaii, Maine, New York, Ohio, Texas and Wisconsin for certain Time Warner systems in Illinois, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Wyoming.

The AT&T Broadband systems had 618,000 subscribers, and the Time Warner systems had 565,000.
