AT&T Broadband & Internet Services.

Multichannel News, June, 1999

ENGLEWOOD, Cow. -- AT&T Broadband & Internet Services is close to finalizing a 10-year carriage deal for CNBC and MSNBC, a source said last week. That would make it the first major MSO to strike an agreement with NBC Cable that would include NBC's Olympic Games package. Out of the gate, NBC has asked operators for a $1-per-subscriber yearly surcharge over eight years in exchange for airing Olympics coverage on CNBC and MSNBC.

It's not known if AT&T Broadband would ante up that large a surcharge.
