OTTAWA -- The Canadian Cable Television Association has named Janet Yale as its new president and CEO following the unexpected departure of Richard Stursberg earlier this year to direct-to-home satellite company Star Choice Communications Inc. Yale joins the CCTA from AT&T Canada, where she was the company's senior vice president of integration.

Prior to joining AT&T Canada in 1992, she worked at the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission.
