BBC America last week signed a second deal to bring content from the Web to its cable channel as TV programming, closing a deal with Dotcomix for the character "Sister Randy." BBC America, the British Broadcasting Corp.'s U.S. cable network, will migrate Sister Randy from her online home to television.

Created by Dotcomix -- an Internet animation site that produces and distributes fresh cartoons daily -- Sister Randy is a chain-smoking nun who misinforms her audience with her art lessons. She is a wicked parody of Sister Wendy, who appears on PBS and BBC America. Sister Randy debuts on BBC America this summer as part of the primetime "Britcom" block.
